Cancellation Policy

Sorry to Hear You Are Leaving

We have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Embody Dance requires you to give 30 days’ notice of class cancellation to either drop a class or leave Embody Dance completely. This is so we can market your dancers space or offer it to the next dancer on the waiting list.

Simply email admin@embodydance.co.uk to request your membership be cancelled within 30 days.

We will then cancel any GoCardless subscriptions you have and take one last month’s payment which will be processed on the day we respond to your email and taken from your account within 2-3 days after processing. Just for clarification, this last payment will not be prorated, it will be a whole month’s payment. During the cancellation period you will be able to attend dance classes as usual. 

Once your last payment has been processed we will cancel your GoCardless mandate so no more payments can be made and your account on GoCardless will become inactive. This means that after this period you will no longer be billed for the dance classes.

During the 30-day notice period, you are welcome to attend the dance classes and make the most of the remaining time on your subscription. After the direct debit has been cancelled, you will no longer have access to the classes.

In the event of a dancer leaving with fees still outstanding, Embody Dance reserves the right to pursue recovery of the debt by all legal means including court action.

Please note: If you choose to leave and return to Embody, you will be treated as a new customer.
